National Center for Mental Health

Dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor Mental Hospital has been appointed as the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) through the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/741/2022 Determining RSJMM Bogor as PKJN on February 18 2022.

OBJECTIVES
1. Reducing disability and increasing the independence of people with mental disorders
2. Early treatment of people with mental problems
3. Optimizing the implementation of mental health services
4. Improve the level of community mental health.
 
TASKS
1. Provide comprehensive mental services (promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative) that are integrated with health services in the community, complete psychiatric specialist and subspecialist services and non-psychiatric services as support for mental health services
2. Carry out a mental health referral network
3. As a national referral hospital in the field of mental health
 
FUNCTIONS
1. Mapping the national care network of the capacity/capacity of national referral hospitals, provincial referral hospitals and regional referral hospitals, which can provide mental health services;
2. Implementation of health efforts through health services, education and research in the field of mental health which are carried out in an integrated, integrated and sustainable manner;
3. Actively strengthening health services, education and research in the field of mental health at provincial referral hospitals;
4. Establishment of a national mental health network team;
5. Coordination with other institutions in the mental health sector in carrying out their duties and functions;
6. Establishment of a network system with all hospitals in the implementation of mental health services; And
7. Preparation of strategic plans and standard operational procedures related to the care and referral system for hospitals that provide special mental health services.
